Facilitation
There are as many facilitation techniques as there are people. Facilitation creates an environment where groups can be productive and effective in achieving their goals.
Facilitate means “to make easy.” As a facilitator, My job is to make the meeting easier for the participants. I manage the approach of the meeting, rather than the content. I am concerned with how decisions are made instead of what decisions are reached.
Through collaboration and consensus, my main task is to help the team or group increase its effectiveness by improving its processes.
